MeshDynamics' Third Generation Performance is Unmatched.

MeshDynamics third generation products continue to deliver performance as customers' outdoor wireless network demands grow. For example: our mesh nodes provide critical communications in mining tunnels. Networks are 100+ nodes and some tunnels are 40+ hops (node-to-node relays).

This level of scalability is unmatched.

MeshDynamics' Patented Tree-Like Mesh emulates Switch Stack Performance.

Wired Switches form robust tree-like structures that scale easily. MeshDynamics' tree-like topologies resemble switch "stacks" - using two backhaul radios for uplink and downlink functions. Dynamic RF channel management ensures that the wireless backhauls operate at peak performance at all times.

High Performance Wireless Mesh Networks: About MeshDynamics

MeshDynamics' third generation patented outdoor wireless mesh access points out-performs all others on the market. The MeshDynamics mesh network design is uniquely radio-manufacturer independent, allowing the rapid addition of new radio frequencies, radio system suppliers, and new technologies and emerging standards. This multi-radio mesh network is therefore future-proof, as it can be upgraded to new mesh network and RF standards as they are proven. Since 2005, our third-generation mesh network nodes have been installed in demanding applications requiring performance over multiple hops, rapid mesh network formation and support for high speed mesh network mobility nodes. Applications include: municipal mesh networking, underground mining and industrial mesh networks, video surveillance mesh networks, homeland security mesh networking, rail transportation and public safety mesh networks and more.
MeshDynamics MD4000 nodes are being used by governmental agencies around the world to provide wireless video surveillance and perimeter security. Wireless video cameras are connected wirelessly via 802.11b/g or may be cabled directly to the Ethernet port on MeshDynamics MD4000 mesh nodes MeshDynamics was chosen because of high data rate performance and minimal latency and jitter, even over multiple hops (node-to-node connections). Competitive products were tried in these applications but were unsuccessful because of high latency and jitter.
Mines and industrial sites are becoming increasingly more networked. Emerging safety requirements in the US and internationally, demand real-time wireless communications for voice and data. These new applications create expectations of high performance over many hops. Underground mine demonstrations indicated VOIP phone connectivity over 14 hops confirming that MD4000 mesh products provide robust data and voice connectivity over multiple hops needed in the tunnels of underground mines. MD4000 nodes also incorporate Intrinsic safe technologies for underground mining environments.
Modern warfare is network centric. The new military is based on communication with IP based devices. This creates expectations of high performance over many hops and support for both static and mobile mesh nodes in one framework. Extensive testing by the military on both our static and mobility products confirms that we out perform the competition - more hops, better throughput and latency, robust mobility. Additionally our modular and radio agnostic approach supports military radio cards.
